Intro to the 30-Day Challenge

The 30-day challenge is the “bread and butter” of My Pleasant Places. I started MPP on January 1, 2012, but for the first six months of the year, I only posted a total of 10 articles. On July 1, I declared a 30-day challenge. You can read that post here, 30-Day Challenge. The goal of that first challenge was to post every day in the month of July. I’m not exaggerating when I tell you that I wrote that post with great apprehension. I had been so unsuccessful in posting regularly up to that point, it was a major undertaking to attempt to post every day!

But I succeeded and I learned so much through that experience that I started a new challenge the next month…and the next…and the next.  I think this may be a lifelong habit! I am sold on the ability to build a solid habit if you commit to the process for 30 days.
